Network+/Telecom Class - Class Not Taught 2010-2011

This course focuses initially on the state recommended text (Networking Basics) that provides an adequate foundational review of Networking and Telecommunications concepts and theories.

 

This is followed by the in-depth study using certification focused content as required to pass the CompTIA Network+ Certification. The book authored by Mike Meyers is used as the primary text and is enhanced with his Network+ Video Training Series and Lab Manuals.

"This course prepares students with necessary foundational knowledge for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting local area networks, with a particular emphasis on Servers, network architecture and infrastructure. Students also learn to apply technical skills to address business applications and emerging network technologies. The course is designed to produce competent network support engineers that are capable of taking and passing CompTIA's Network+ Certification exam. This Certification not only helps individuals enter the industry, but it also provides hiring managers comfort that the appropriate level of technical knowledge and skill are known."
